Summary
Thanks to my coworker for lending me his phone for a few minutes (he waited in line for 9 hours yesterday when it first went on sale!).
This is quite an improvement over the iPhone 3GS running iOS4, which ran the SunSpider test in 13787ms. The iPhone 4 ran the same test in 10669ms, which makes it ~22% faster head-to-head.
Processors
The iPhone 3GS has a Samsung S5PC100 ARM Cortex-A8[5] 833 MHz (underclocked to 600 MHz), while the iPhone 4 has an Apple A4 1GHz (likely underclocked to an unknown speed).
HTC Desire scores around 6200ms. Yes.
[...] Hur är Desiren jämfört med andra mobiler? Hittar inga bra siffror som kan jämföras med de siffrorna jag fick fram på min Desire. Men, hittade ett sunspider-test på en iphone 4: [...]

Nexus One running CyanogenMod 7 (Android 2.3.3): 4116.9ms.
GTab running CM6.1.0-Beta4-Harmony (Android 2.2.1): 3775.8ms
Interesting that a tablet running 2.2.1 is only a little faster than a phone running 2.3.3.
Must remember that the GTab is running a Beta CM, but it may be 2.3.3 improvements vs.
2.2.1 that cause this…
Of course with Nitro, the iOS figures would be in the same 4000+ ballpark.
Too bad Nitro is not yet available for WebView/PhoneGap-based apps; only for Safari itself.
Hopefully that will change soon.

That blackberry score is great but most like is due to not being able to perform all the test and getting zero value for them which lowers the score. A quirk in their testing results o_O
